Sand Cafe started with a simple idea: Southsea deserves a cafe that feels like its own — independent, warm, well-made. Somewhere you’d want to come back to on a Tuesday morning, not just for a weekend treat.

We opened on Elm Grove because we love this stretch of Portsmouth. It’s independent, creative, and full of people who care about where they eat and drink. Our menu reflects that — speciality coffee from small UK roasters, ceremonial matcha, brunch built on seasonal produce and a pastry case we’re a little obsessed with.
